Wiggins/Felix (Season 2, Episode 2)
PREMISE
In North Carolina, Neicy Wiggins is supermom. 18 year old
Brelend and 15 year old LB have to live by the rules, including having to have
their homework done, chores done, coming home by curfew and a bedtime. Neicy
always calls the boys asking who they're with, where at, and what time they're
going to be home. Neicy also gets up at 5:AM to look after the neighbor's baby girl named Charlie. Husband Bill used to be a sergeant in the marines, and guided his kids
upbringing through military values. This includes military inspections on how
well the boys clean their room. Bill doesn't do chores, and Neicy brings him
food and drinks. Education and sports are priorities in the Wiggins household.
The boys love sports are on baseball, basketball and football teams, and Bill and Neicy make sure they do their homework.
In upstate New York, Vicki and Jeremy Felix have only one
rule, that there are no rules. 9 year old Erikka and 5 year old Dylan have no
bedtime, no chores and no discipline. They are allowed to use swear words and sleep
wherever they want, including the living room sofa and floor. Erikka and Dylan can usually be found in their rooms playing video games and watching TV. Vicki spends her
days sleeping till noon, working till midnight in the call center and gambling
in the casino till 5 AM. Vicki is hardly ever home, and when she is at home she hardly spends time with her family. Vicki and Jeremy have not
slept in the same bed for 3 years. Jeremy has an 8th grade education, and since
he lost his job shoveling manure, he stays home to look after the kids. Vicki
and Jeremy both swear, using the F-word, the S-word and the N-word.

UPDATE
After the swap The Felix family said they were harassed.
The night the show aired and afterwards, they received phone calls
threatening to harm their family and people were driving by their house and
honking. Jeremy's mother Wilma said “It’s a nightmare. There’s been nothing
positive about this. I have never known my daughter-in-law to be afraid of
anything, but she won’t go to the store. I will not go to a store. Anything I’ve
needed at the store the last couple of days, I’ve sent my husband because his
face was not on that TV.” As a result Vicki and Jeremy moved out of their house and got an unlisted phone number. ABC hired private security for the family.
Bill and Neicy are divorced and Bill is now married to
Olga Wiggins. The Wiggins boys now have their own kids and Brelend owns a real
estate business. Brelend says most of the show is scripted. They never had a white glove test that was only for TV and although his parents divorced, they are still happy. Erikka is now 24 and looks like her mother. She is also friends with Brelend Wiggins on Facebook. Here is a picture of her posted on February 25, 2019. Dylan is now in his 20s.
Seeing Bill and Neicy getting divorced saddens me.
