PREMISE In Los Angeles  California, Lillian Fuentes is a tough and independent police officer who specializes in homicides and sexual assault. Being in law enforcement for 13 years, Lillian considers herself a work addict, and gets up to work at 5:00 AM till 11:00 PM. Due to her long work hours, financier Bill and his mother Margarita look after the kids Gavin (11) and Dylan (6). Margarita drops off and picks up the kids from school. Bill serves Lillian breakfast in bed. In Maryland, Dawn Lawson lives by the book Fascinating Womanhood written in 1963, which explains how to be a perfect wife. PREMISE In North Carolina, Neicy Wiggins is supermom. 18 year old Brelend and 15 year old LB have to live by the rules, including having to have their homework done, chores done, coming home by curfew and a bedtime. Neicy always calls the boys asking who they're with, where at, and what time they're going to be home. Neicy also gets up at 5:AM to look after the neighbor's baby girl named Charlie. Husband Bill used to be a sergeant in the marines, and guided his kids upbringing through military values. This includes military inspections on how well the boys clean their room. PREMISE In Loudon, New Hampshire, Melody and Rick Broider have 5 boys. Jared (13) Addison (10) Zane (9) McKenzie (9) and Zach (8). The boys have 4 basic rights: food, shelter, education and clothing. Everything else is a privilege. The family uses a privilege point system, where the kids earn sticker stars by doing chores. Stars can be used to buy 1:1 time with their father, and to buy back toys the boys left around. If the boys leave their toys out, they get their toys taken away. Rick used to burn the toys, but now they have an auction where the boy with the most stars gets back the toy. Punishment can include losing your room and having to sleep on the floor. Strict discipline even extends to the use of the bathroom. When the boys weren't keeping the bathroom clean, their parents made them sign out a key, and when they are done they check off that the bathroom was indeed clean.
